Synopsis

Max Raban is scruffy, single-minded and annoying but he is not your run of the mill type of journalist.

He cannot stand daylight, is obsessed by conspiracy theories, and is a highly accomplished rubbish bin rummager.

Raban sells stories to the tabloids. It’s a job he inwardly hates but does to make ends meet. His journalistic career took a nose-dive when he failed to protect a source on a vital story. (itv.com)
