This episode follows Sayid and has flashforwards that reveal that Sayid is one of the Oceanic Six, the 4th to be revealed, and is an assassin working for Ben . On the island, Sayid, Kate, and Miles Straume go out to the Barracks in search of Charlotte Lewis who they believe is with Locke and the rest of the survivors; they find them there. Sayid negotiates with Locke to trade Miles for Charlotte so Frank Lapidus will fly him and others back to the ship in the helicopter. Although Kate was a part of Jack's group who were seeking rescue, she remains with Sawyer and the rest of Locke's group. Sayid and Desmond leave in what they expect to be the helicopter's first trip off the island. (wikipedia.org)
