Crews was born in Flint, Michigan. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams of the NFL in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft and carved out a career that lasted six seasons. After retiring, Terry pursued an acting career, playing the beefcake "he-man" in movies such as White Chicks. He played Damon in Friday After Next, featuring Ice Cube and Mike Epps. He now stars in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (as Julius) on the CW, and his latest movie appearances were alongside Adam Sandler in The Longest Yard and Click.
